Sanding, and body prep

After sandblasting, the body and other related pieces were sprayed with PPG's best self etching primer, which will seal and condition the metal for bodywork.   A paint job is only as good as what's beneath it, and the many rust preventive measures we take during this process ensure years of rust free existence for the finished product.
