The Chassis:

A normal looking '63 VW chassis, with one exception: This one was fitted with factory seatbelt mounts, located on the floor pans near the outside just behind the front seat tracks, and on the frame tunnel below the handbrake lever.   The mounts were cut from the original pans, and fitted to the new pans exactly as the factory had done.  If you look closely, you may be able to see the large mounting holes in the tunnel.

The chassis was then stripped of the suspension.  We sandblasted, painted with POR15(tm) rust and chip proof paint, seam-sealed our welds, then sprayed on our trade secret satin black for a factory look.

The results were impressive!
