then several layers of high-build primer (peach) was applied.

Sean's MGB is next in line for paint!

All panels have been sanded smooth, and we are almost ready for primers.

We also re-skinned the driver's door. Shop owner Dan Loftus observes.

These beautiful front fenders are straight from the U.K. and fit perfectly.

4/22/2005

This week, we did some major structural repairs to the opposite side of the car.  It needed a center rocker section, as well as fabricated patches for inner and lower panels, and like the right side, a complete outer rocker and rear quarter section.

4/15/2005

Sean's MGB is now undergoing rust repair. New rocker panels and fenders have arrived and are being installed.

Smaller patches have also been fabricated, and all structural panels such as rockers are rust-proofed before installation to ensure long life.

New rear quarters are installed to finish the job. Great care is taken to ensure an even door gap all the way around.

4/1/2005

The engine compartment gets an initial strip, but some areas are in need of light sandblasting.

The area where the master cylinders are located has suffered from years of leaks.

3/24/2005

Front fenders are removed, and the body is sanded and chemically stripped

Motor, transmission, heating system, door mechanics, lights, etc. are now removed

3/17/2005

Disassembly continues with removal of windshield, seat, and door sill plates.

On Arrival:  Partially disassembled, this vehicle is just begging us to finish the job.
