1963 VW Double Cab Pickup Project

We're restoring this 1963 VW Crew cab with a basically stock look: factory L87 Pearl White paint, real wood bed slats, stock wheels and bumpers.  Updates include a more modern 1965 front beam, lowered suspension front and rear, 12 volt electrics with alternator, 1.6L dual port engine with Kadron carburetors.

Assembly is in full swing! Exterior is complete, we have moved the truck into our showroom for final assembly. More to come!

Fresh paint always looks good!  We're now into assembly, and our Crewcab should be complete soon.  More updates to follow.

Detail is everything. Our restorations look as good from above as they do from below.

Almost ready to paint!

Twice-over with high-build primers and guide coats, block sanded between layers.

Many hours of hand sanding go into our super-straight body work.

This one will be done in L-87 Pearl White, factory finish above and below.  

With the cab disassembled and the body stripped to bare metal, all body repairs are being made.

Below:  This Crewcab may look rough, but it's solid in all the right places.
